I never really cared for a tort but when I saw this recipe it seemed fairly straight forward and I had everything at hand. Family is out doing Xmas stuff and I'm thinking treat. Heck....I just bought a new truck so I needed a reward. Buttermilk was fat free but made no difference. Only problem was it didn't float free as quick as I thought it would. Just shuffled it around a bit more and A-OK. Done!

This tort was great! My daughter-in-law came over and she is a baker and gave it a big thumbs up. Only change I made is a dollop to me looks like a mini mountain. Had some heavy cream so went for the real stuff.
