Ric, you do know it takes leather balls to play rugby? I've never figured out why rugby is any different from football, as footballs are also leather. Real footballs, as in soccer balls, not American footballs that made from piggy parts. . Then again, I'm just a tennis player, skater and sometimes hockey player. However, I gave up the hockey when I took up the violin 'cuz i kept asking to be goalie in the fourth quarter.

Last evening Scoutgal and I attending a performance of Gustav Mahler's 8th Symphony, known as the Symphony of a Thousand. An apt title as there were two orchestras (the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Simon Bolivar Orchestra) and 18 choral groups making the total number of performers around 1,100. A simply astounding musical experience. This is what the massed choruses looked like Phil, I had a great time, even the hiking(;) ), and dinner was delicious! You are a great date! The Mahler concert was stupendous! I am so happy for you. Mahler is one of my all time favorite power composers. It takes a special sense of music to write something that can be performed with 1000 or even 150, and it still sounds good. Of course, the 150 only works in small concert halls, but still, you get the point.

Little known fact: Jules Verne was young once. Today is Jules Verne’s birthday. Widely regarded as one of the founders of modern science fiction (indeed, often called the Father of Science Fiction), Verne’s works explored many of the new technologies and scientific concepts produced during the 19th Century. Many of the fictional machines in his writing anticipated the factual development of technology in the 20th Century. Verne’s writing is still immensely popular today and he is one of the most translated authors in history.

So now the qustion is: Are you their type? Most likely not. Guys like the above, and who are gay - at least around these parts - like the small framed/petite, smooth/hairless, effeminate Asian-boyz.
