Now that President Bush's polls are as low as former President Nixon's before his impeachment, his amnesty bill failed (until the dems pass it in 2009), and Senator McCain is more fervent in his support of the Iraw war as his campaign melts down, I hope that President Bush and his neo-con advisors don't decide the time is now to bomb Iran.

A new threat from terrorists will do for now: "I believe we are entering a period this summer of increased risk," Chertoff told the Chicago Tribune's editorial board in an unusually blunt assessment of America's terrorist threat level. And this new terror threat is based on what? ... Chertoff said there were not enough indications of an imminent plot to raise the threat levels nationwide. He indicated that his remarks were based on "a gut feeling" formed by previous patterns of terrorist attacks, recent Al Qaeda statements and intelligence he did not disclose. Pathetic little weasels!
