Rick, I believe you are right. I was not aware of the term "peak oil" until I read Ruppert's book "Crossing the Rubicon" where he pointed out that 9/11 was based on oil.

Before 9/11, many of us who lived along the Colorado River realized the high cost of heating and cooling our homes could be turned over to wind power as the winds seemed to follow the river south. I was told the environmentalists would never allow wind mills as it would kill the birds. Many who live in N.W. Phoenix are now installing Solar panels on the roof but even that is very high when it does not cool the homes which is as important as heating.

Since 2001, we all know that oil has been the source of terrible arrangements made with the Middle Eastern oil suppliers. Reagan/Bush/Clinton/Bush apparently were all involved in the rape of the Middle East.

America cannot conquer the Middle East but America can't seem to realize this fact. I listened to CSPAN this morning when the discussion was the war in Iraq and a very high number of callers claimed they were frustrated with the war and turned to the bible to help them.

END OF TIMES won the discussion! This will be the answer to America's problems unless we get a real honest Constitutional loving leader in the White House who will fulfill his job description and put the bible back in the "Fiction" section of the library.

Coming up with this cop out of our problems is an insult to the many American soldiers who were sacrificed for such a belief. These people are as eager to self-destruct as the Islamic zealots are. American values are leaving all of us under these rotten leaders.
