Scout I didn't get a chance yesterday to say thanks for the photo of Mount Whitney. I've never really explored the Sierra Nevada's, but seeing that photo encouraged me. I mean photos and maps. It will be some years before I can do it in person. If ever. [Linked Image from aximsite.com]

Re: jury duty. I don't think I'll ever be asked again after I was interviewed during the selection process years ago and told the DA I didn't believe it served the community to have a system of punitive incarceration. I stated that only under the direst of circumstances would I agree to send a human being to prison.

I was not picked to serve on that jury either.
