The biggest problem IMO that seemingly set this country back, was when the 'boomers' grew up and changed into what they rebelled against as youth.
The country made so much headway when those young people acted against the system.....but as they grew older they grew greedy and content with a life of luxury vs. one of ideals. When that happened, the movement was gone, and the old system found it's way back from the dead.
Time for a new crop of young people to rise up and resist and make changes. The old crew is mostly gone, or IS the problem. It's time they were shown the door.....to the rest home.
There is no way to know what direction a movement would lead, but I can assure you it will be different than the one now. And that's okay by me.
