All right, I challenge you to give me some ideas of how the Democrats are going to fix the broken system. Let's get down to some hard core facts on why your candidates are any better than the GOP. I am not sticking up for the GOP but am tired of hearing that they are to blame for every damn thing that has gone wrong. They may be, but come up with your ideals for a better system. I have called no one by name but I ask for some fixes other than throwing out the bad water on the Right. Hell, yes the GOP has to go but replaced by.....what?

You just have to trust us, Sandy. The Republicans had their turn and screwed the pooch.
Time for them to do what they do best.
Keep their Mitts off.

Hell, yes the GOP has to go but replaced by.....what? Good question, Sandy. According to this news story, The Dems are not the answer either. I say revolution! ![[Linked Image from i48.photobucket.com]](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f228/ca_rickf/Smilies/tank.gif) You just have to trust us, Sandy. The Republicans had their turn and screwed the pooch. Now it's The Dems turn to "screw the pooch" ? ![[Linked Image from i48.photobucket.com]](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f228/ca_rickf/Smilies/animal-smiley-037.gif)

Yeah, Revolution. Great idea. I can't think of a group more worthy of the name "Do-Nothings" than Rick's imaginary revolutionaries.
You get 49 RR brownie points for your latest variation on "They're all the Same", Rick.
And you get my vote for Teacher's Pet.

That's hilarious, Sandy! A riot! And I thought instant gratification was only for the young.

I don't understand BOHICA. Come on Ron, you know I don't understand these terms.
So what I'm hearing is none of you have a clue how to fix the system. I take the morning off with other work and come back to "stamp on Sandy!" Good! that is what I wanted but followed up by some fixes from this very brave intelligent group.
I also know a little about the skin heads in Idaho and now New Hampshire. We are going to need a better plan that what we find currently in those two places. You want Ruby Ridge? You want Waco? Both of these locations are under heavy investigation and is not a good move. A revolution will need a plan on how to start it and a plan for how to stop it. Sounds like you want to blast in just as we did in Iraq. To hell with the plans and isn't it a lovely day to get blown up?
If I sound desperate it is because I am. We have no leadership from the Democrats and none from the Republicans. Do we slip into green clothes and try that losing plan? Do we try to wake up the brain dead Libertarians? I don't have that much energy left.
R.S. has brought up a very important problem and that is the degrading of our American dollar. Neither the Right nor the Left has a clue on this subject as it is complicated and difficult to think in terms of a firm gold standard. We know the Dems have ignored it and the GOP has made it worse. Who can straighten out this destruction of the American dollar? Who can renew our American Sovereignty? I DON'T F*CKING KNOW! I'M ASKING.... WHO!!!
Going from the extreme right and then the extreme left and back to right did nothing but get us into war. Do we continue to bounce back and forth until we kill each other on the street?
There is no Superman or Batman to fly in and blow up the bad guys because nobody knows who the hell they are......... so why not locate the good guys and talk them into running for all the open elections in November 2008?
Now all we need is to define the good guys. What is it you all want? Would it be wise to ask what it is we want and is there any possibility of a compromise?

But you persist in blaming the Republicans for the mess we have at this time. Where are the corrective programs and the desire for a less corrupt government? It has been 7 months that the Democrats have held the majority in both houses and yet little has been done to try to control the Bush Administration; lots of meaningless suggestions but nothing solid. The Republicans have solidly blocked any action from getting through the Senate that did not meet karl Rove's approval. The Republicans in theSeante have voted solidly to uphold Bush's veto. What, exactly would you have the Democrats do? Would you have the 50 Democrats cast 67 votes to override Bush's veto? Would you have the 50 Democrats cast 61 votes to end Republican fillibusters? What? And, for a change for everyone on this site who declare Bush's failures to be all the Democrats fault, make sure your numbers add up.And, by the way, I'm saying 50 because Joe Lieberman, while he caucused with the Democrats to give them a "majority", has voted consistenly along the White House line, even to protecting Gonzalez, so he is a Republican as much as Zell Miller ever was. Or is that the Democrat's fault also?
