Like I said: Nothing to interfere with normal retail ammo sales. If there is actually someplace that lets you buy thousands of rounds without presenting ID, or even proof that you are an adult, then that crap has to stop RIGHT NOW.
But I looked through all of those linked stories, and I did not see anything that would prevent a normal, sane gun owner from buying a few boxes of ammo for a hunting trip or a visit to the range.
Some of those "new restrictive requirements" don't even take effect until 2018, even though they should have been in place for decades.
And just as I suspected, the article about California said a government agency has identitifed over 20,000 people who they believe are armed while on the "no guns allowed" list. I suppose these might be some of the people who will have a difficult time buying ammo in the near future! Good!
