Tomatoes are frustrating. There's so much time elapses between the first flower and the first bite of ripe fruit. So many things that can go wrong. I had bad luck with blossom end rot for two years and then the blight last year. This year's crop was unexpected to say the least, considering the drought.

Yeah, Dean's looking mighty and unstoppable. Last year, remember we dodged all the bullets, with very few powerful Atlantic storms and none of them hitting the mainland. The Global Warming Fear is upon me! Every storm that comes along, I'm thinking "OMG it's going to be SO BIG because of GW!" Pathetic, eh?
