I'd like to try Korean BBQ, especially the short ribs. I've never had kimchi, either, but I figured that I might give it a try. So, I looked around for a recipe. Preparation is too much of a project. If I'm ever in a Korean restaurant, I'll give it a try. I did like the video. There are several really good Korean restaurants in SoCal. And you can get canned kimchi from any Asian market. If it is not available where you are, Joe, I would be willing to ship some to you. PM me and let me know.

Harissa marinated chicken legs, pan fried and finished in th eoven on a spicy harissa tomato sauce, finished with a sprinkle of lemon zest, Veg stock Cous Cous and a dollop of natural yoghurt.
Would eat again!

Got a pasta machine for last birthday and gave it an inaugural run today.
Marinated a flattened chicked breast in basil pesto with some extra lemon juice and black pepper. Pan fried, on top of homemade tagliatelle (tossed in the same) spinckled with crispy pancetta.
hoo-boy. a bit of work, but oh so worth it. I'm not usually pushed about pasta but this has converted me.

(Im hoping to be a lot quicker next time and will prep a double batch. I'm working my up to Ravioli, but the fact that I dont eat cheese will be a bit of a hinderance. Turkey and Beef Scout? You're my kind of gal. Still trying to decide which for Christmas day.

Turkey and Beef Scout? You're my kind of gal. Still trying to decide which for Christmas day. Some of the guests do not like turkey, so I try to accommodate. And now my mother-in-law has called to tell me about a few more relatives that will be in town. Maybe I also need a ham...and double up on the sides! ![[Linked Image from rougarants.com]](http://rougarants.com/forum/images/smiles/rolleye0018.gif)
