I cremated a dead cat in my wood-fired boiler once. He hissed and spit more than when he was a youngster. I'd love to burn babies for heat, especially if someone was paying me hazardous waste disposal fees, though I would leave them out in the sun for a few weeks to dry them out first... it would significantly increase the Btu recovery. Say, am I a closet Capitalist?

I would also keep the options open to incinerate tumors, all manner of medical detritus, and perhaps moonlight as an official crematory. That's where the big bucks are, as it's easy to convince grieving folks that they need to spend a good chunk of dough honoring the dearly departed as part of the process of sanitary disposal of the leftovers.
I would make sure to spin it in a more respectable manner, of course.

Oh, crap! Speaking of spin, those UK incinerators actually consume more Btu's to do the incinerating than they produce! "Re: Aborted babies incinerated to heat UK hospitals", is a frikking lie! There goes my business model.
