Stronger? Like who? Ted Cruz?
What does the word mean? Harder to the extreme right?

When the Republican primary clown car arrived in 2012, the only one I thought could appeal to more than far-righters and died-in-the-wool Republicans was Jon Huntsman. He said he believed in science and stuff, so he never got his moment in the sun.

I don't see Ted Cruz as someone who could win the general election. And though he will have big money behind him, I really can't see him winning the primary. He hasn't made many (elected) friends in DC. He brings nothing but the Tea Baggers, as far as I can see, and I don't think that's enough.

Governors Scott Walker and Chris Christie look too tainted to take seriously.

Scott Brown? An empty suit. Rick Perry? An empty hat.

I think President Obama appointed Jon Huntsman to some position. Maybe he has picked up enough creds to make another try.

Who do you think might be their best pick?

The Fox T-Baggers love Ted Cruz, Scott Walker, and Rick Perry - for whatever reason. They don't like Scott Brown and Chris Christie.

I think that Jon Huntsman being the US Ambassador to China under President Obama might taint him. The Conservatives are so rabid in their hatred for President Obama, that any kind of affiliation(regardless of their political views) with The President is seen as heresy, and unforgivable. Just look to Hagel and Gates as examples.

I rarely agree with Sanders, but if he runs I'd vote for him.

He has proven that he is happy to work with ANYBODY. His track record speaks volumes to that.

Being President has very little to do with political positions. It is more an administrative position with the requirement of working with big money interests. Whatever politics a President arrives with will be tempered by the latter to the extent little of the original impetus to run will survive.
