Soccer is a great sport for young kids to play until they get old enough to pick a real sport. Ah, yes, sports. Another fine form of masturbation. Builds characters, good for the non-productive economy. Lets folks practice taking vehement sides over trivial matters and gambling on the evanescent outcomes. There is so much to be learned from sports. Makes me wonder... which is more real - Reality TV, or Sports? At least it presents more value than your comment. LOL! What currency are you using, keyzee fiat money?

The arrogance shown in this comment is eye rolling. Soccer(Fussball) has been around as a sport a lot longer than football(American), basketball or baseball, or even hockey. It IS a true sport, and I defy you to play as long as some of the soccer players do. Only hockey and basketball require as much endurance(team sport-wise), and hockey lines change every five or so minutes. You can pull your foot out of your mouth now.

Ann Coulter is more definitively a sign of moral decay.
A well reasoned argument is like a diamond: impervious to corruption and crystal clear - and infinitely rarer.
Here, as elsewhere, people are outraged at what feels like a rigged game -- an economy that won't respond, a democracy that won't listen, and a financial sector that holds all the cards. - Robert Reich

(M)ann Coulter is definitely something else. The mold was broken when she was made.

Ann Coulter is more definitively a sign of molar decay. Somebody should give a brain root canal, fix her right up!

Here is Ann Coulter's followup column: Soccer: Part DeuxThe woman is a twit and an embarrassment to the Right, and many of us on the Right are of this opinion.

The “right” seems to need outrage of whatever flavor and something to belittle. I’ll admit I am not much of a soccer fan and find the game boring to watch too. But if I were raised with it I might feel differently.
When I was in high school eons ago I had a PE teacher named Mr. Aguirre from Central America who was appalled that we knew nor cared little for soccer (football). So he shuttled us all to a huge field away from the campus and attempted to teach us the game. I remember I just kicked the ball as hard as I could and sent it sailing with little regard as to what I was trying to do. Most of the others on the field felt the same way if memory serves. Clueless.
Aguirre just clamped his hands around his head and likely uttered various Spanish swear words and phrases and lamented the hopeless cases he was witnessing first hand. The younger generations “gets it” I think. But not mine.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.
