I saw the title and thought it was another Fast and Furious thread. IMPEACH OBAMA!! While I appreciate the sentiment, and I really am encouraged that somebody with your political leanings would actually consider doing something so against your party's wishes, impeachment is just not worth the effort. If you really want to stop the mess that is the Obama Administration, then you should vote Republican in the midterm elections and take away his ability to block common sense legislation coming out of the House. There is no common sense being displayed in the Senate at the moment. And when will such legislation start coming from the House?

In reference to "Passing out weapons as a foreign policy ". I was watching John Oliver, the other night, and it would seem that the United States has spent billions of dollars arming a good share of the entire middle east. When the bad guys were sweeping through Iraq, for instance, they found a veritable billion dollar arms cache which we gifted Iraq with (maybe they paid for it) and which they now have. We have armed not only the Saudis but the small too, including countries that back Al Quida with pride and, I suspect, our weapons.
I am not convinced this is a good idea and, at least so far, the results have not exactly worked out, insofar as our own safety, or the safety of the recipients, is concerned. It would seem that anytime we send weapons into the middle east those who we consider bad also seem to be able to get their hands on the stuff and, sometimes, also use that same stuff to kill ours.
I have to admit, however. It is good for those companies that make that stuff and that provides jobs!! (its ALWAYS about jobs - sometimes to the exclusion of common sense).
