I believe the answer was given in November. Maybe in 2016 the Democrats can get a few more low information types (try this site) that want "free stuff" to make a comeback. Gruber tells me all I want to about the liberal mind set. LOL! Aren't you about six weeks late with the Gruber bullshiit? Do try to keep up, the other conservtards are passing you by.

I believe the answer was given in November. What was the question again?

I believe keyser is attempting to burnish his Republican bona fides. Say something completely meaningless, attempt to demean the opposing party without substance, and see if anyone catches on. That is the GOP mantra. It is, of course, no defense. But that is not the point, is it? (Leaving aside the obvious reality that has been noted before: the GOP wins when voting is low (new record! Voter Turnout in 2014 lowest since WWII - and most of them are the same voters! and so voter suppression is the formula for success.)
A well reasoned argument is like a diamond: impervious to corruption and crystal clear - and infinitely rarer.
Here, as elsewhere, people are outraged at what feels like a rigged game -- an economy that won't respond, a democracy that won't listen, and a financial sector that holds all the cards. - Robert Reich

I see - it's both a point of pride (winning at the lowest voter turnout) and a plank in the party platform (suppress voter turnout). I get it now! Go GOP! The strategy is working! Just got to wondering... now that the GOP has a mandate due to the midterm landslide, is the only mission still to oppose Obama at every turn? I don't remember any other action items presented during the campaigns. BTW, I heerd Mr. Rubio gushing about the new supermajority held by the Republicans, I 'spect that will enhance the ShutdownObama'sagenda mightily. I am a little confused about where the supermajority is lurking, though. Can y'all give him a call and get some clarification for us?

As Dr. Evil told NK hackers - Guardians of Peace - there already is an evil organization called the GOP, way to go a-holes!

It was more of a mudslide. We shall see how Republikkkans handle themselves over the next two years. President Obama's approval rating is at 48% right now and trending upward. Congress' approval rating, on the other hand, has hovered around 15% throughout 2014. I'm going to predict a brief upswing to around 21% after the 114th Congress Convenes on January 6, 2015 and then a decrease to a possible new low(13%) after the Republikkkan infighting begins. Without a Democratic Senate to help shove the House back into shallow water whenever they go off the deep end I suspect that things will get very interesting prior to the 2016 election when Madame Clinton(like it or not) will likely be elected our next president.

Someone wrote: If somebody writes something down, does the thing they wrote down become history, or is it just the writing down of it that is history? Ask keser. Soze he knows.

Conservatives are riding RINO coat tails and think THEY won in November. They totally ignore the FACT that RINOs kicked conservtard ass to the curb in the primaries. The FACT that the GOP can ONLY WIN when voter turnout is low speaks volumes. Conservtards think the November 2014 election is a mandate to Obama.

... I'd like someone, anyone, to provide an honest and detailed defense of the party and its policies. ... In light of keysersoze providing the answer, I had to go back to the OP and refresh on the question. Apparently the only honest and detailed defense of the GOP and its policies is that the GOP won a sizeable number of seats in the mid-terms. Evidently there are no policies to defend, other than winning is the only thing that matters. I think that is the essence, and the full substance, of the GOP today - fully affirmed by the only Republican to post on the subject. To extend the OP a bit further, can anyone provide an honest and detailed summary of the top ten GOP policies (no defense required), besides the one of winning as the only thing that matters?
