Well now that you ask ... me.

Even though I may not have what you consider good qualifications, I am big on integrity and honesty.
Sorry but due to being over qualified, having any integrity and honesty, your application for the position of Attorney General has been rejected!

Actually, your qualifications are a happy coincidence - neither did/do another executive positions filled by President Bush!

see my CHB thingie today for my take on this mess. I am much less happier than I was this morning when the news first broke.

I did read your column, Ag. That would be a very cunning move on the Administration's part.

I'm sure that was Rove's last 'hu-rah' to the American people.

If you think of life as a chess game, and your good at your game - you'll always come out ahead.

Too many people "react" to their opponents move, instead of thinking ahead and anticipating all of their opponents next possible moves.

I'm no Rove fan, but I'll bet $100.00 that Karl plays a mean game of chess.

Gonzales was rather more of a symptom than the disease itself. Hopefully the dems start dismantling the fascist police state this Administration has constructed with their help and not turn it over completely intact to Hillary.

Don't count on it. Despite my own defense of Democrats in Congress, I am beginnig to fear that I was wrong. And that they will cave in to whomever Bush nominates because Republicans will threaten to fillibuster other, unrelated bills in retaliation.

I fear you may be right. The Democrats(very few exceptions) in both houses have shown themselves to sniveling cowards. [Linked Image from rougarants.com] [Linked Image from rougarants.com]

The dems will keep the fascist police state legislation on the books for Hillary to deal with the civil unrest resulting from an economic crisis that both parties help create.

If they cave again, that will be the nicest thing I say about them.
