So today we got this new guy in our department. He is a tall (like 6'2" ) strapping Asian guy. I was all...ok. Odd. Then he started talking and he did not have an American or Asian accent. It was completely different - but somewhat familiar.

I asked him where he was from. He said: Montana. Me. Before that I asked.

He said: Siberia.

(How cool is that?)

I started asking about life in the Soviet Union and he corrected me and said Russia.

He showed me on Google map where he used to live in-between Lake Baykal and Mongolia.


He thinks Putin is a jerk. Yeltsin was a jerk. And Obama is just ok. At least he referred to Obama as 'our President.'

He then asked me what I thought of Obama. I said domestically he's done good stuff for us Americans, not so good on the International stage like bombing Libya.

...later in the shift, he was hefting around 75-80lb cases of Foster Farms boneless/skinless breasts like they were buddah. I tell ya', those Russians are strong, like moose.

So, is he a bear?

Not at all.
