Every once in awhile I check myself to make sure it is not me that is so far from the mainstream. I spent some time today reading FOX News posts (and the follow up comments by posters). I spent some time on The Week, as well, and some on MSNBC. What I determined is, well, I'm pretty mainstream, and the commentaries on FN vary from the far right to the extreme right.

A well reasoned argument is like a diamond: impervious to corruption and crystal clear - and infinitely rarer.

Here, as elsewhere, people are outraged at what feels like a rigged game -- an economy that won't respond, a democracy that won't listen, and a financial sector that holds all the cards. - Robert Reich

there is a purity test for posters on conservative sites. If no one is to your right, you may post a comment vis a vis far right ... extreme right.

Consider that the Constitution was not unanimously ratified. There were about 33% of representatives who voted against it and RI voted 100% against the first time they voted.

And of course the obvious .... for true believers facts, objectivity, critical analysis or thinking never matter

Does this mean that Obama can be indicted for claiming to be a Christian?

Does this mean that Obama can be indicted for claiming to be President of the United States? When we know he chooses to be President of only a small portion of the United States.

Does this mean that Hillary can be indicted for being a moron? Oops, being stupid isn't a crime, and it gets you elected as a Dem.

What is the "this" you keep mentioning? It's not a secret, is it?

Something I found while wasting my time posting on a RWN blog for more than a year is that they seem to have some kind of a movie playing inside of their heads that they commonly confuse with reality.

One of the most obvious manifestations of that is a tendency to make posts responding to things that no one has said, or to fail to identify any context for their comments.

It can be surreal at times.

In case you were wondering, I am responding to Ma_R's comments...
