Ah, so maybe they are after all that money that has been donated to Kim Davis.  If they can get just ONE person from that office or ANY state official to do ANYTHING even remotely actionable, and I do mean we are STRETCHING the definition, they will file. They don't even care if the judge might throw it out of court because the moment they file, the Phelps family goes to work on the defendants, and they ARE GOOD, they ARE REALLY GOOD at what they do. There are numerous writeups on the Phelps and their scam. Those WBC vans don't roll unless they have a reasonable guess that they will make some money.

They are playing a fools game, though: Sooner or later they will pick on the wrong person or group and they will all end up dead. On the winning side of a dispute maybe, but still dead. I'm not promoting this. It just happens. Some people feel they have little to lose, and will joyfully take the bastards all to hell with them.
It's MUCH safer to not piss anybody off, and they are pissing off everybody they interact with, every day. Actually, I'm amazed nobody has gone bonkers and started shooting them.
