It seems that Yeshua was born in the fall (according to the scriptures). Link 1 Link 2 Or June: Daily Mail Or not... No one knows for sure. Early Christians picked a day to commemorate and celebrate the Birth of Jesus. I don't think matters so much when, as why. The article illustrates the hypocrisy with which those declaring that there is a "war on Christmas" have acted.
