My wife asked me this question, and I thought it was a good thread starter: Who would be willing to be Trump's running mate?
Louis Farrakahn? And would that "imbalance" the ticket? She also asked, "If Trump were elected, might he be the first President who was involuntarily committed while in office?"
A well reasoned argument is like a diamond: impervious to corruption and crystal clear - and infinitely rarer.

Kanye West? I think he'd be committed even before taking office. Just winning the election would push him off the rails.

He's already mentioned Ted Cruz and spoke of offering a cabinet position the Sarah Palin. I imagine that's largely to pull even more extremists into his camp. Would Ted Cruz be willing? Probably. He would see it as a path to the presidency later. Together they would prove the viability of the ultra conservative agenda by making America so great that a Democrat would never stand a chance of winning the Whitehouse again.

i do not believe it is a requirement to have a running mate .... it is a political gimmick
My guess is, he would acquiesce to RNC demands to have a running mate and one selected by them to garner the most appeal (the gimmick) .... thus a RNC patsy

Trump will probably call on his alter ego to be his running mate...

He's so great, he can occupy both positions. After all, he has two faces!
