Right-Wing Extremists Are a Bigger Threat to America Than ISIS Very comprehensive Newsweek article, that actually blames all this right-wing terrorism on the politicians and media that lie for their own gain. Kind of refreshing, for a major media article to tell it like it really is and not pretend that every opinion is equally valid. They also point out how years of lies have now created the very forces that are tearing the Republican Party apart.

Y'allQueda is still occupying the Oregon Wildlife Center as four right-wing militants want free passage and no disciplinary action taken against them, today 02/05/16.
Yes, these are scary times and right-wing fanaticism is only in its infancy.

Challengers from the Sidelines Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right Link Arie Perliger, director of terrorism studies at the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point, writes that three ideologies make-up the violent American far-right are racist, anti-federalist and fundamentalist. Each has subgroups.

in the alternate universe in which conservatives, who have passed the purity test reside, being anti-government does not imply being a terrorist, since it is an integral part of being a true and real patriot. thus the intrusion into federal operations was not an act of terrorism but an act of patriotism.

I took this topic to another blog, the conservatives discounted Arie Perliger, director of terrorism studies at the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point - as a Liberal. I then asked why would the military brass have a "liberal" in its military officer school. Crickets as you might expect. Anyone not on board with the three ideologies making-up the American far-right, is a "Liberal" as one might expect from these knuckle-heads.

the conservatives discounted Arie Perliger, director of terrorism studies at the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point - as a Liberal. A liberal for those people is someone who doesn’t buy their worldview locked, stocked, and loaded. The slightest questioning or shade on gray coloring of any given topic ”proves” one is a liberal. And ends any discussion then and there. These types also tend to be those who run around with their pocket constitutions and bibles and take it all in literally. Because both were directly written by God. By Golly. Of course- regarding th US Constitution- there is only one item in it worth a damn. The good ol’ Second Amendment sans that annoying and unnecessary militia verbiage. All the rest is irrelevant filler garbage.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

Militia is okay, as long as you mean a grass-roots club of gun-totin' crackers. Like The Michigan Militia. Just some good old constitutional scholars exercising their right of assembly, and taking orders from nobody.
Definitely NOT the real militia, AKA The National Guard.

The good ol’ Second Amendment sans that annoying and unnecessary militia verbiage J SCalia in his majority opinion effectively crossed through the first phrase, thus no longer can one point to militia for anything. The 2nd is now read, there is no infringement etc What this means is, the Founders were not very intelligent to have included a meaningless phrase in the Constitution in a critical statement of rights. If they had been intelligent they would never have written the phrase.

The 2nd is now read, there is no infringement etc... And nobody ever pays any attention to the pore orphan phrase, "...being necessary to the security of a free State..." I guess it was obvious from the git-go that such a thing was a waste of ink. "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Here's the way it would have been stated if a real Constitutional Patriot had written it: "We gits to have all the gunz we wants to have 'cuz the damn overreachin' gummint is a gonna need to be thrown off are backs!"
