True. I've seen and read legal opinions stating that sexual orientation is codified into federal law and that it is not codified into federal law.

Being a lays-person and not legally well-versed - I think sexual orientation protection needs to be spelled-out so that EVERYONE can see it, understand it, and adhere to it.

Hmm

I agree…. my dogs agree too. They don’t care who uses their bathroom.

Check out this clipping… my name incorrectly spelled as Hall… whoever is named Hall.. first same sex couple to register to get married in old hometown. Yikes, 12 years ago and this is still being argued about.

Also first same sex wedding we attended, beautiful, on a lake - Betty and I “gave away” the brides.

Add in a MAN BUN and it's enough to give me indigestion.
And it's not fixable either, because when they wear three-piece suits, it's even worse!

Tonight is the Full Crow Moon!

[Linked Image from livingyoganewhampshire.files.wordpress.com]

Traditionally considered the last full moon of Winter it has also been
called the Worm Moon, Sugar Moon, Crust Moon, and Sap Moon. And probably a lot of other things by people who like to name full moons.

The Crow Moon brings to mind this auld Scottish story about two crows.

The Twa Corbies

As I was walking all alane,
I heard twa corbies makin a mane;
The tane unto the ither say,
"Whar sall we gang and dine the-day?"

"In ahint yon auld fail dyke,
I wot there lies a new slain knight;
And nane do ken that he lies there,
But his hawk, his hound an his lady fair."

"His hound is tae the huntin gane,
His hawk tae fetch the wild-fowl hame,
His lady's tain anither mate,
So we may mak oor dinner swate."

"Ye'll sit on his white hause-bane,
And I'll pike oot his bonny blue een;
Wi ae lock o his gowden hair
We'll theek oor nest whan it grows bare."

"Mony a one for him makes mane,
But nane sall ken whar he is gane;
Oer his white banes, whan they are bare,
The wind sall blaw for evermair."

It's the "Gay Muscle Bear" look.

The trends in trendy men's looks, at least since I've been an adult, start in the gay community and then spread to the general population.

In order of appearance:
70s - 80s Baseball caps worn backwards
Late 80s Bulking up
90s Goatees
Mid-90s Tats
Mid-2000s Shaved heads, big beards

The Gheys did it first.

Last year when I went to Folsom Street in September 2015 - the 70s porn star moustache seems to be making a come-back.

In my opinion, those socks look like a window pane into your soul...

You never change things by fighting the existing reality.
To change something, build a new model that makes the old model obsolete.

All except the backward ball cap thing...that's been around forever.
I even remember it as a wee tot.
And when I started picking up movie and TV cameras it was sort of an automatic thing of course.
Had to be, pretty hard to use a camera with the bill of the cap facing forward.
