This is a few blocks from my house.  In the heart of the LGBTQ community. If that ain't terrorism... They have narrowed down the definition of terrorism to acts by "other" a la Drumpf. A powerful explosion caused by what the authorities believe was a homemade bomb injured at least 29 people on a crowded sidewalk in the bustling Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan on Saturday night, according to the police.
A few hours later, the authorities found and removed what they described as a second explosive device four blocks away, raising the possibility that two bombs had been planted in the heart of the city.
Mayor Bill de Blasio called the explosion — which occurred about 8:30 p.m. on West 23rd Street — “an intentional act” but initially said there was no connection to terrorism and no immediate claim of responsibility.

It may turn out to be a Trump "deplorable", but a bomb is almost always terrorism.

I don't doubt it was the Drumpf gang. There was a pipe bomb in NJ yesterday, at a place where a marathon was supposed to be held. They say there's no connection but only because the bombs were different, i.e., they have no idea who set off either one.
The Governor fixed the "terrorism" thingy after half of NY got on their case: any bomb in a public place intended to hurt innocent people is terrorism. No matter who is responsible.

the authorities found and removed what they described as a second explosive device They will probably catch the responsible party, since they found and disarmed a bomb. Unless it was made with the most primitive explosives, it is pretty easy to trace. Homeland Security has people who do nothing else, and they are VERY good. But these seem like terror versus mass casualty bombs, meant to affect voters but not kill people. Real terrorists intent on mass casualties make truck bombs (like Oklahoma City) and take out whole buildings. Putting a small bomb in a steel dumpster that opens on the top is a sign of not wanting to kill people. (Most of the explosive force goes up, where their are no people.) So maybe 100 years in prison instead of the death penalty?

Authorities found explosive material used for target practice on the devices. Clearly a second Amendmenteur.  Now who has called upon second amendmenteurs in this election? Who was that...?

they're so dumb that they didn't know what they were doing Most likely. I imagine they will be in custody within the week. And not released on bail because they are too dangerous to public safety. Then in prison for life. Probably Trump supporters, since he has attracted the kind of people who would do this.
