That was stressful but I sat through it.

Donald had nothing to offer but bumper sticker platitudes. Clinton outlined plans and policies.

He really doesn't have any depth on any issue, and evidently doesn't want any. I think Clinton could argue all sides of an issue for quite a while. That's what happens when you actually work at something for decades.

I don't think there can be any doubt among liberals that Madame Clinton won the debate.
On the other hand Trump supporters probably think he won.

I'm sure they do, but it's the undecideds who matter. Clinton looked in control and Presidential.

Trump did not.

Actually, one of my "contacts from the other side" is very disappointed and feeling sick.

As well they should be. Trump, as usual, was all about Trump.
Clinton spoke about what she will do for the middle class. Trump shouted the glories of making rich people richer so they would trickle that wealth down on the rest of us. The rich people are already richer and there aint nuthin' but merde trickling down on the rest of us.

Richard Kaup: (on David's Snarky Politics Place)
"Even Hillary were to drop dead tomorrow and transmit her orders via Ouija board, she would STILL be a better president than Trump!"

Gary Chowen (re Trump saying "I have a great temperament.")
"The man is a walking aneurism."

Sandra Byner: (daughter of comedian John Byner)
"She was great tonight! Presidential poise and focus. He lost cabin pressure after the first 10 minutes of his rambling and almost blew a gasket."

That's just the first hour after the debate tonight.
Personally I think she calmly ripped his head off and took a dump down his throat, then put his head back on and patted the top of it.
Secretary Clinton stuck with using her inside voice and appeared as a Sphinx.

That was more or less my take on it too.
