I suspect if Gary Johnson had been on the stage for the debate his "Allepo moment" would have gotten more play. I'd also bet Trump would have also failed to be able to name a foreign leader other than Putin.

Looks like Hillary's wiggle is turning into a bump. I thought all the polls said Trump won???

I thought all the polls said Trump won??? Just the fake internet polls where anybody can click in to "vote" and then get on the smart phone to click again. These are not really polls. If you have a small rabid fan base or even just some IP number spoofing software you can skew their numbers any way you want. Only a few real polls have been done so far and they all show a big win for Clinton. The CNN effort even had several Republicans saying she won.

One debate is over, and its effect will be baked in. I expect it will add 1% to Clinton's eventual lead. The second event (a "town hall") could also have an impact, but a smaller one. (Unless Kaine absolutely bombs, I don't think the VP debate will have an impact.) I still think we'll see a 1% rise in Sept and another 1% in Oct, with an eventual 4-5% lead in pop vote. (If the Cuba bombshell has legs, the race is over anyway. Trump can't win without Florida.)

538 has collected some real poll data, following the debate: So, what data have we gotten since then?
In New Hampshire, a MassINC Polling Group poll (live caller) had Clinton up by 7 points. In Michigan, a Glengariff Group poll (live caller) had Clinton up by 7 points. In Florida, a Mason-Dixon poll (live caller) had Clinton up by 4 points. Also in Florida, an Opinion Savvy poll (conducted by automated telephone and online) had the race essentially tied (Clinton up by 0.3 points). And finally, in Nevada, a Suffolk University poll (live caller) had Clinton ahead by 6 points. from Election Update: Clinton’s Debate Performance Is Helping Her In Swing States

I got the explanation, from an extremely credible source, for why il Douche was up early tweeting angrily at the former Mizz Universe - he was prepping for the next debate!

I only watched a little of the VP Debate. Pence surprised me, he's pretty good in a conservative status quo sort of way. From what I saw, I give him the win. Kaine never seemed to be able to gain any traction.

Didn't see much of it, but...
Pence was steady, Kaine was eager. But... Pence was further from Trump than Kaine was from Clinton, and Pence said something that could be really, really bad: he essentially said we should attack Russia in Syria.
