Fortunately for us, the alt right is an aging demographic. It's made up largely of Boomers and X-ers, who for one reason or another, have chosen to destroy the future for Millenials. Donald Trump is 70 years old. His future in broadcasting is destined to be a short one, his relevancy has an expiration date, and his shelf life is short. I have the sinking feeling we as a nation are doomed. I don't feel this way at all. I see a bold and exciting future unreeling before us. This election has served as a wake up call to Millenials who have let their parents and grandparents make all the decisions and are getting fed up with them and are now old enough to make decisions for themselves and influence government to stand up and take notice of them with their votes. Bernie Sanders galvanized them and showed them that there was a way forward and that their voices would be the ones heard soon. Not this election, but in the near future we will be seeing more and more of them, not just voting but running for office as well. Just as the horse and carriage days faded with the industrial revolution, the age of fossil fuels(and political fossils) are numbered. We have entered the digital age, the age of globalization, the age of clean sustainable energy and an age that Millenials and their offspring will be prepared for.

I was thinking earlier today about what Trump said at last Sunday's debate: His finances were looked-over by "the government" in order for him to qualify for the old US Post Office to reimagine into a hotel. Isn't all of the information public and therefore fall under the FOIA therefore, Trump's financial balance sheet?

My wish for all political debates is giving the moderator a timer and a switch to turn off a debater's microphone. The switch would be used for two specific instances. The first is that when one debater is speaking then the other's microphone would be turned off, thereby stopping any interruptions. The second is when any debater goes over a defined time limit. I guess there should be warning lights for the debaters but I really don't care about that one. We are, incidentally, now being told that Trump interrupted Hillary no less than 55 times and in one 26 minute period Trump actually interrupted Hillary 26 times! (Hillary only interrupted Trump 17 times) Great minds think alike. I have wished for this solution against "presidential" blowhards for a long time. Will never happen, of course. .

Not hard to do when all the loans are personal or even foreign because none of the banks will do business with you.

I would believe a Trump balance sheet about as much as I believe every grunt that comes from his proto-primate ass of a mouth.

When tonight's debate starts, Hillary should say: Seriously, Donald, you invited a Hamas supporter?  It would be the zinger to end any chances of Trump ever recovering for the rest of the evening. But I predict that any minute Malik will be secretly "uninvited"...watch for it.
