I live in New York City and the state voted heavily for Clinton so my writing in someone else had zero, I stress zero effect on the race. The one if only silver lining to this election is that progressives and the Democratic Party can bid the Clinton's and all of their political baggage farewell.
Sorry but I never said I wasn't going to vote, I just said I wouldn't vote for the 4 people cited in my post.
Apparently, you and a lot of other people who should have known better. You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you just might find, you get what you need.

While I couldn't agree more that the Clintons need to go (along with a boatload of people in the DNC), but quick. I live in NYC too, and under normal circumstances I would never vote for Hillary, however, these were not normal circumstances. The popular vote - while it may not help elect the president in this case - moves forward an agenda to get rid of the electoral college, something that should have been shut down a long long time ago. So, protest votes have time and place, but I don't think this was either.
The dire consequences of this election, I fear, may last beyond my lifetime.
