If the Democrats want to reach those people, they have to do less web appeal about the intelligence and superior background of their candidate and concentrate on personal messages about what they will do for each person. Personally, I like intelligent people but I recognize that average people may not. Hillary's campaign appealed to me, but that is exactly why all the college-educated and advanced degree holders voted for her.
