sorry but .... LOL and another LOL

did you just make an assumption about the "middle" which is predicated on being rational????? 50% of America voted for a someone who talks with a 4th grade education i.e. there is a level of ignorance which can not be overcome with talk about an agenda

in another way, how can you pretend to be able to talk to people who bought hook line and sinker the idea of a 20' wall only to find out Mr Trump did not literally mean a physical 20' wall and still they support him

i do not know anymore if people can be educated to be critical thinkers. for several years now I have seen the rise of ignorance (or at least the increasing visibility) and it does not bode well for America. Mr Trump apparently thanked Alex Jones for his support and input. Breitbart has been mentioned as the official Trump propaganda machine.

I know you guys realize what the problems are, but what is needed, not for a party or political slant, are solutions for America. Ignorance is the enemy and as long as it is allowed to grow the deeper in trouble we will be

Agreed on ignorance. There was even a "rumor" being floated that Alex Jones was being considered for press secretary.
Normally I dismiss that as "fake internet news" and in this case that is exactly what it turned out to be....BUT:

Trump is now demanding top secret security clearances for Eric and Donald Junior.
WHY? Because they are his kids?
I was joking about them being Uday and Qusay, but let's ponder this for a moment. An alt-Right president wants top secret clearances for his sons for no other reason than they are his sons.
He has hired a neo-nazi as his chief strategist. Why is it so far fetched that he would hand our secrets to his sons to cement his lock on power?

After heavy meditation, I manage to calm my nerves and hold the panic down for a bit. Then I turn on the news...

It seems that the two top candidates for Treasury are Jamie Dimon - yes, that Jamie Dimon - and a munchkin Mnunchin.

A well reasoned argument is like a diamond: impervious to corruption and crystal clear - and infinitely rarer.

Here, as elsewhere, people are outraged at what feels like a rigged game -- an economy that won't respond, a democracy that won't listen, and a financial sector that holds all the cards. - Robert Reich

Actually, no. 26.79% of voters voted for the fuzzy orange one (he's still not an office holder!). Participation was down significantly from 2008.

Democrats need to concentrate on two things between now and the next election: voter access, and giving them a reason to vote. Solid candidates, a good platform, and a PR campaign to counteract GOP propaganda/FOX News programming.

When are Democrats going to recognize and admit that they went up against a weaponized psyop? If anyone doesn't think that the genius level campaign against the Democrats was NOT a psyop, please present evidence that can definitely prove it wasn't.

I smell Rand Corporation consensus building tool all over this, mixed with the very best Madison Avenue fearmongering and neuro-linguistics.

No, I cannot definitively prove it WAS a psyop. No, it's not fair that I am asking everyone else to prove "Not Guilty".
I am just trying to find out if I am the victim of an overactive imagination.
After all, thirty years in media is no different than any other bubble.
If you see something outside my bubble that says "Ordinary homegrown grass roots" instead of "carefully cultivated weapons grade astroturf", please show it to me.

Do you think some of us will have to get our passports stamped with a big yellow star with the letter "J" in the middle, or a big rainbow flag?

(Not that there's anything wrong with that!!)

neo-nazi
a bit hyperbolic

Bannon is one of the alt-right i.e. they do not swear allegiance to AH or wear swastika tats or shave their heads .... he is more insidious

people like him hide their bigotry from "normal" folks with intellectual effrontery and logical arguments.

Whether it is munchkin or Dimon the rubes will be oiling up their AR-15s - the swamp is getting thicker by the day.

And now the clown car starts to riot:

Quote
WASHINGTON — President-elect Donald J. Trump’s transition operation plunged into disarray on Tuesday with the abrupt resignation of Mike Rogers, who had handled national security matters, the second shake-up in less than a week on a team that has not yet begun to execute the daunting task of taking over the government.

In a statement on Tuesday, Mr. Rogers, a former congressman from Michigan who led the House Intelligence Committee, said he was “proud of the team that we assembled at Trump for America to produce meaningful policy, personnel and agency action guidance on the complex national security challenges facing our great country.” And he said he was “pleased to hand off our work” to a new transition team led by Vice President-elect Mike Pence.
