Yes, and it isn't going to bode well for them. But don't expect Trump supporters to magically switch parties when the Trump trainwreck eventually derails.(not that it was ever actually on the rails)
Republicans tend to double down, seeking ever more radical policies, farther and farther removed from mainstream policies that actually work. When they find themselves in a hole they'll shout for more shovels and just dig themselves in deeper. Hopefully wiser heads will prevail in the midterms and the next presidential elections. It's going to be a wild ride until that happens though.
