Fantastic Phil! Really great to hear someone intelligent talking about a subject so widely misunderstood ThumbsUp

Probably true if every scientific sense. Unfortunately, those who devalue science are the same people who are anti-gay.

I was tepid to view the video given the name "James O'Keefe." Prior to this video, that only "James O'Keefe" I knew of is that conservative a-hole video maker often accused of selective editing and once arrested and convicted for an undercover caper at a senator's office.

But, thankfully, it's not the same guy. Thanks for the sharing Phil.

CNN finally finds its niche in the world of news: ROTFMOL

‘Parts Unknown’ indeed: Did transsexual porn air on CNN in Boston?

Quote
One CNN viewer in Boston, Massachusetts expecting to see ‘Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown’ on Thanksgiving night was instead treated to 30 minutes of hardcore pornography, but it appears no one else had the same problem, despite media reports.
X-rated programming was allegedly seen by a Boston-area RCN cable subscriber, who tuned into CNN at 11:00pm ET on Thanksgiving. That viewer posted photos on Twitter, which ended up starting a media firestorm that spread false or misleading details.

RCN and CNN initially played the blame game over the mishap.

Hey, it ain't all bad. Now we can get our porn right on the TV! ROTFMOL

He might have been tuned to CNN on his cable box, but I bet his video source was not set correctly since zero other cable subscribers saw this porn. Or maybe somebody managed to hack his cable box? It is possible. These boxes now contain a microprocessor equal to the task and an internet connection.

This is an "after the horses got out" result, but Federal judges order North Carolina to redraw legislative districts. First skirmish in the coming war?

A well reasoned argument is like a diamond: impervious to corruption and crystal clear - and infinitely rarer.

Here, as elsewhere, people are outraged at what feels like a rigged game -- an economy that won't respond, a democracy that won't listen, and a financial sector that holds all the cards. - Robert Reich
