Way too young! She used much the same technical vocabulary that I use in the kitchen! She would have appeared more attractive to teens on PBS than Julia Childs.

Here is her Good Ass Chicken recipe!

Hey--but the pineapple was supposed to cut the grease and make it healthy--right?

Fruitarian and all of that.

What other chit am I missing?

Y'know...I clean my sink several times a day with bleach. But I would never ever put food in it. Auntie Fee was a horrible cook and broke practically every rule in the book. Watching her use a dull knife and cutting towards herself was among the most cringeworthy things I've ever seen. But she was a lot of fun to watch.

That just made me sick. I can't believe anybody would do that. I am actually very careful in the kitchen, probably because I scrubbed in for surgeries for several years. I have a highly refined awareness of what is clean and what is dirty.

It's okay to make your gin in the sink, though. The bathtub is really too large.

I hate to admit it, but he's right. It was bound to happen sometime. Did you ever try and shake a tub? Kitchen sinks are easy, just add a golf ball!

Always remember, it is not so important what goes down your sink, it is more what comes up! And seeing that, I am feeling something coming up now...

Worthless no booze!
It calls for 2 oz of dill pickle vodka...is there such a thing as dill pickle vodka? You might be right, I'm not sure I could even call that booze.

Ooops, I missed that in the salad course. The stuff actually exists. Naked Jay Pickle Vodka

The reviewer found the skunk-like aroma/taste somewhat off-putting. 60 proof seems too little to compliment that taste. I have a breakproof plastic bottle of Habanero vodka in the fridge. Actually, as I only make habanero relish/salsa/ every other year, they ripen late here, I stabilize the salsa with vinegar and vodka 80 proof, to a final proof of about 35-40. No problem lasting 2 years in the fridge. A little goes a long way. The homogenization phase takes place outside, now, with gloves, mask, and goggles. Trust me, yeah right, this is not a overkill hasmet procedure.

Akron native Lola Albright, the former West High School student and WAKR receptionist who grew up to be a glamorous star in Hollywood, died Thursday morning in Toluca Lake, Calif. She was 92.

Albright was perhaps best-known for playing nightclub singer Edie Hart opposite Craig Stevens in the NBC television show Peter Gunn, which aired from 1958 to 1961. She was nominated for an Emmy in 1959 for the role...

The blue-eyed blonde shared the silver screen with some of the biggest names in show business. She appeared in nearly 40 movies, including Champion (1949) with Kirk Douglas, The Good Humor Man (1950) with her future husband Jack Carson, The Tender Trap (1955) with Frank Sinatra and Debbie Reynolds, Kid Galahad (1962) with Elvis Presley and Les Felins (1964) with Jane Fonda. Christine Kaufmann, Austrian-born actress in ‘Town Without Pity,’ dies at 72

Quote
Christine Kaufmann, an Austrian-born actress who became the country’s first Golden Globe winner and was married to Hollywood star Tony Curtis in the 1960s, has died. She was 72...

She made her acting debut in 1952 and appeared in European films, including the Italian-made sword-and-sandal drama “The Last Days of Pompeii” (1959) opposite Steve Reeves.
