You are right, if the dems win it all they could. However, not trying to dampen the enthusiasm but the history of the dems is a bit spotty when it comes to 'fixing' stuff. I think the most glaring example is their effort to force truth in political advertising after the citizen's united decision. They owned it all and couldn't get it done because the unions didn't want their name on their own efforts so, now, EVERYBODY gets to not put their names on their efforts. In other words the dems have their own problems when it comes to getting bought. I would heartedly suggest that, when voting, you goto https://www.opensecrets.org/ and take a look at who is buying your candidate before you take the plunge. It is, if nothing else, kinda educational. I live in Washington state and here is a little peek into who gave what (there are also individual candidates and who got what). https://www.opensecrets.org/states/donors.php?state=WAHere is their report on Maria Cantwell (washington state senator): https://www.opensecrets.org/members-of-congress/summary?cid=N00007836 What happens is that a voter needs to decide who got what from where as, sometimes, there are surprises.
