I dunno, Kathy, maybe we're being too harsh. Remember, this place caters to people who are a) dumb enough to think expensive designer stuff is necessary, but who are also b) too smart to spend the money required to own it!

I think maybe it's got a bit of positivity there...

BBC News. US surge has failed - Iraqi poll.
...or the oil runs out, whichever comes later.

Coincidence? Pigs figure that if you look under enough rocks, anything's possible.

Would that it were so simple - and democratic! But no, that is not what Mr. Bush said. What he said was that the instant the Iraqi government tells us to leave . . .
. . . and of course, with a puppet government firmly in place, and another puppet waiting in the wings in case the current puppet fails, I'd suggest you'll have better luck waiting for fruit juice to turn into a popsicle in Hades than waiting for the "Iraqi" government to tell us to leave.

Very cool pics Rick--but since the world is flat I'm wondering what studio they were produced in?

In order to honor Olyve and The University of Georgia (UGA), I have to try to attempt to write a joke that is best told orally. I don't know if it will transfer to the printed word.

Quote
A great storyteller, Lewis Grizzard, was an unabashed fan of the University of Georgia football program.

At the beginning of every football game, the team mascot, a bull dog named UGA, (pronounced Ugga) is taken to the center of the field.

One day, UGGA, began to lick himself where a dog is "want" to lick.

Lewis' friend turned to Lewis and said, "Dang, I wish I could do that."

Lewis looked at his friend in a questioning manner and replied, "Why, that -- dog --- would --- BITE YOU."
