No progress on 'Dreamers' as another U.S. shutdown looms.

Nothing, absolutely nothing, has changed since the shutdown. There has been no bargaining, there have been no new proposals, and even the majority of Republicans think Trump's "framework" is unworkable. Mitch McConnell lied brazenly on the Senate floor, and Paul Ryan never intended to address the issue (because he's a milquetoast). Legislating is hard, so I won't do it!
