"In like a Lion, Out like a Lamb" it is said of March, but this week, it might be "In like a Liar, Out on the Lam" with Michael Cohen testifying before Congress while Donald Trump is vacationing in Hanoi with his "new love," Kim. Spring is truly in the air.
Oooh, that's not pretty... Let's see what other weather-related sayings come up...
"A dry March and a wet May? Fill barns and bays with corn and hay."
The Corn, of course, can be converted to mash, and thence to... Ahem! Moving on...
"As it rains in March, so it rains in June."
Oh, this is not going well. Reminders of climate change.
"March winds and April showers? Bring forth May flowers."
As if on cue, multiple news outlets have described the new winter weather bursts as March coming "In like a lion". Keep your heads down, and your feet dry. By the way, "the boy is back in town", and is already roaringtweeting, too.
The North Korea thing is just for show anyway: Anybody with an IQ over 60 knows Kim will never give up his nukes. The lesson of Ukraine is not lost on Kim. Everything else is just meaningless play-acting. We can improve out relations, but forget about the nukes. They are here to stay, and if Trump fixates on them he is going to be disappointed every time they meet.
This is a case where "alternate facts" and a "personal relationship" have no effect on reality.
You know how there are certain US Senators who are so desperate for power, they're willing to undermine our democracy? And, did you know if you re-arrange the letters in the word "Senator," you get an entirely different, but very appropriate word, and that word would describe these Senators and that word would be treason?
Now that "Leaving Neverland" is in the public consciousness, the truth is finally out, yes? No matter how much evidence piled up that pointed to the fact that Michael Jackson was grooming and molesting young boys, his adoring fans refused to accept that uncomfortable truth. And MJ's money and power made it possible for him to escape the consequences, but in the end, karma came calling. But in the meantime, MJ did a horrific amount of damage to simple things like rational and critical thinking.
Now, all that having been said...look around you for a moment. Is there another powerful and charismatic figure who is currently wielding a kind of Michael Jackson type power over a large portion of the American people...while he grooms and molests the Constitution?

Noah, who is South African, joked about knowing the movie's main character, T'Challa, played by Chadwick Boseman. "Growing up as a young boy in Wakanda, I would see T'Challa flying over our village, and he would remind me of a great Xhosa phrase," Noah said. "He says 'abelungu abazi uba ndiyaxoka' -- which means, 'In times like these, we are stronger when we fight together than when we try to fight apart.'" But those who speak Xhosa got a good chuckle, because what Noah actually said is: "White people don't know I'm lying."
