I know - issues aren’t what win elections. But it’s too early to make a choice based on personality, charisma, and overall grifting abilities.

Read some feedback from state and local campaign chairs in the rust belt states that her highness lost in and the idea of Trumps victory there being a fluke will evaporate.
She learned nothing from losing to sanders in the primary and frantic calls to Brooklyn went unanswered during the election.
Corbyn won the biggest gains for Labour I the UK on a issues platform. Bernie may have done it but for the Dem party.

There's certainly no denying that Bernie gave an empty handed Democratic Party a platform they can work with for decades to come.

I just saw Andrew Gillum on Real Time. To be honest, I didn't know very much about him.

But, watching him for the past seven minutes - I am IMPRESSED. If Andrew Gillum jumped in, he would become my No. 1 guy immediately. smile

Charismatic isn't he? And a good speaker. Running for president might look good on his resume beside Mayor of Tallahassee but I don't see him drawing much in the way of support for that office. I'm hoping he will stay in politics and run for state office or the US House. He'll do well in Florida but I dunno if he's ready to spread his wings and aim for the top...

Andrew said that he and Stacy brought out the young and diverse vote and that the recent midterm election in Florida was almost at Presidential voting levels.

At least on Real Time, Andrew didn't say anything that would be out of the mainstream for middle America voters. smile

The Foundations of Geopolitics: The Geopolitical Future of Russia
NO ENGLISH TRANSLATION EXISTS YET.

"Russia should use its special services within the borders of the United States to fuel instability and separatism, for instance, provoke “Afro-American racists”. Russia should “introduce geopolitical disorder into internal American activity, encouraging all kinds of separatism and ethnic, social and racial conflicts, actively supporting all dissident movements — extremist, racist, and sectarian groups, thus destabilizing internal political processes in the U.S. It would also make sense simultaneously to support isolationist tendencies in American politics.”

Safe to say that Vladimir Putin has been ticking every checkbox in the book, one by one, and he's succeeding.
