Everyone else! Put it this way, the black church community detests gay black men, but they cannot live without their choir directors, almost all of which are gay black men.

I'm going to ask my best friend Rev. Patrick, who happens to be a black gay choir director (among his many legendary musical accomplishments) if Corey is on the downlow.
Not that I don't trust you, but Patrick is famous enough that it wouldn't surprise me if he's met Corey Booker.

The only "elsewhere" that we have any right to speak of is white culture, and yeah, white culture accepts black queers about as well as we accept white ones. Whether the black ones are queer or not doesn't much matter because they're black anyway.

I know that's harsh, but let me remind you that our current president was elected because of his racism and bigotry, not in spite of it.

And for christ's sake, gay people have only recently even been allowed to marry! Like they were gonna breed and take over the world or something. The simple act of buying a cake for the ceremony turned into a years long court case.

Maybe the black community is divided like we are into two partisan groups? Churchies and no-churchies, racist and not racist, democrat and republican, gay tolerant and non gay tolerant. But there's not a white man alive that could possibly make a call on that.

Yeah well, I guess you haven't met a lot of black Americans? ROTFMOL

But seriously, not all of them are religious. And a LOT of gay black men LEFT their churches and organized religion altogether specifically because of the hostile environment.

I wish you could meet Patrick Henderson. I will probably talk with him this weekend and one of us is bound to bring up the latest Methodist brouhaha.

Traditionalists prevail in United Methodist Church sexuality conversation

The United Methodist Church is a white church. They might grudgingly let a few blacks attend and accept donations from gays but they are as bigoted as the Baptists.

The AME(African Methodist Episcopal) Church is a whole different(darker) ball of yarn.(they separated in 1816)
I don't think churches in America are as integrated as some other facets of life, like schools and water fountains....I could be wrong...I'm a white pagan and know nothing of black culture or christianity.

I'd be willing to go out on a limb and say that I bet the AME never even held a vote of that sort.

Funny thing: Trump keeps on calling for "opening up the libel laws", but he doesn't understand what that would mean. He wants to punish people and media that say bad things about him. But that's not how libel works. People libel others when they say bad things THAT ARE NOT TRUE. Truth has always been and always will be a perfect defense against libel. In the case of media vrs Trump, they keep reporting bad things that are true!

On the other hand, Trump makes it a frequent habit to say bad things about people and organizations that are not true: If you "open up the libel laws" that would backfire and get Trump into constant legal trouble. His idiotic "opinions", which are now protected, would all become libels and get tested for veracity by the courts.

As usual, be careful what you wish for.

As usual, Fatass Trump is lying about George Conway asking for a job and being turned-down.

And as usual, it's the other way around, Fatass Trump asked George Conway to join the Administration and George Conway turned Fatass Trump down.

Here's the Letter: George Conway Letter

Trumpspeak: Defeat is really victory! Failure is success!

(Realty is always the opposite of what that idiot is saying. Hmm
SEE: Post above this one.)
