The Republican Light choice.

He'll shut down all this talk of green new deals and socialism!
And make America 1977 again...

I'm good with Joe signing-on for 1 term to right the ship and getting rid of orange dipshyte, then handing the reins over to Kamala. Hmm

We wouldn't be having this discussion had Hillary done her job and campaigned in WI, MI, and PA and not let 77K votes over three states slip away. coffee

Aw jeeeeez, Rick! That old canard? Polls were solid in those states. 2016 was a fluke. A series of flukes and an outcome so outrageous that it defies logic and reality.

Donald John Motherf*cking Trump is the President of the United States.

I suspect that the dark arts might be involved. There's really no other explanation for this.

Be that as it may, Biden? I know he's polling well, but so was Hillary.

I agree that 2016 was a fluke for many various reasons: Russians, social media, Cambridge Analytica...and 77K votes across three states put the orange dipshyte ahead in the Electoral College.

The EC is the only way a Republican can win the presidency - the ONLY way - because it certainly isn't by the popular vote.

Therefore, we need to campaign in all rust belt states - and not take weekends off like someone did in 2016. Ol' handsome Joe will campaign on weekends. smile We need a guaranteed win and Joe will bring that. This election needs to be about the win, we'll campaign to our ideology, next time. Ergo my suggestion of Harris as running mate.

Trump could not have won if Obama rust belt voters didn't vote for Trump. Hmm

I'm not at all certain that Joe Biden's entry into the race guarantees a win of any sort. It's going to be difficult for Democrats to lose in 2020 but if there's a single candidate who could pull it off Biden would be my bet. How's he do with Hispanics, blacks, women, youth, lefties, and disinterested voters who may or may nor vote.
Where's the excitement? What's the draw?
Why should anyone get off the couch to vote for Biden? He's just another out of touch old white guy.

I'm still favoring Beto. He's goofy, he's good at heart, he's young.
He's relatable to everybody. He's the kind of guy you'd like to have a beer with, and more importantly, he's the kind of guy who would genuinely like to have a beer with you too.

He's not a socialist. But socialists needn't fear him.

The excitement is to beat Trump and cement him into history as a one-term President. I definitely think that one of the women should be on the Ticket. The ONLY woman that I think is even worth considering is Kamala Harris.

In poll and poll, Biden is the only one that beats Trump.

Polls don't mean diddly at this point. Biden running on a "remember me I'm a harmless old fool" platform aint gonna cut it when the knives come out. And that's all he's got. People remember him fondly from the Obama administration, they can't name a single thing he's ever done but they recognize his name. That's all the early polls are showing.

He can't name a single thing he's ever done either because he was probably voting with the Republicans and it's best he doesn't mention it...

Those who voted for Hillary thought she was a winning horse too. Bernie would have been President today and beaten orange dumbass if it were not for Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. Hmm

Based strictly on issues, I’d go with an Inslee/Warren ticket.
