Then just as we were rounding the home stretch with the healed fracture she got a massive pressure sore right on her buttock, right where the hip bone meets the femur. A major flap surgery followed by five weeks in a floaty bed called a Clinitron, which required her to be 100% immobilized, like in an iron lung.
Then another month hospital bed rest but thankfully in a normal hospital bed.

She is home now but still under strict bed rest orders but she gets to sit in her chair about five hours a day for now.

Yeah, it is not shaping up to be the greatest year for us so far either...and we're still under the spectre of Trump, of course.

Thank God Karen's finally home...
OMG!!!!!!! gobsmacked

I hope she's better now. I don't want to finally win you this way... smile

Shame you don't have a thing for redheads...I could go either way...

Finally got my computing machinery repaired. But I had another lightning strike take out my phone and internet for two days....June is f*cking cursed I'm tellin' ya.

My dogs best friend, who he meets and boops twice a day when we walk, got eaten by an alligator today as his owner watched. Not just any alligator either...Trapper came out and killed him. Sumbitch measured an even ten feet! Somewhere, right now, a man is skinning it and butchering it.
It was a hot day, little fella jumped in the creek to cool off and BAM! Gator took him under. It didn't really eat him...just drowned him and wedged him underwater to tenderize for a while. My neighbor is worried he's gonna bob up and freak his wife out all over again in a few days...

Pretty much the same thing happened to me, except with a speeding car. Probably wrecked my first marriage.

Yeah, I was thinking it's not much different from that.

It's sad. Roscoe doesn't understand why his friend won't come out to see him...

Representative Duncan Hunter is in the news again: Not only did he and his wife divert $250,000 in campaign funds to take vacations, buy luxury items, and the usual Republican criminal activities, but now the Justice Department released info that he had five affairs and used some of that money for no-tell-motels, skiing, and wining and dining his bimbos. His wife was facing five years, so she has now pleaded guilty and got a deal for her testimony against him. He blames "the Deep State" instead of "thinking with the Little Head". He's going from Congress right to prison. That diversion of campaign funds can easily turn into money laundering charges when you try to hide it, and of course they did. He's guilty as hell, and knew it while he was doing it.

The invasion of Iran starts on the 16th of July because Robert Mueller's testimony starts July 17th.

The Coward in chief may just do that. After all, he would think a war would distract the country from what Mueller has to say. It would make president Orange Sh*t a war time president, and we know what republicans think about that...

Edited: changed "that" to "think". I, that I was wrong with that.
