The fact that anyone even has to ponder if the optics of a president pardoning a child molesting billionaire is bad enough to hurt Trump ought to be a sign that Republicans have already gone over the precipice altogether as far as any lingering shred of morality is concerned.

Rich and powerful men exploiting underage women isn't exactly a new thing. It has always gotten swept under the rug. The numbers of minors molested, abused, and outright raped has always been suppressed by practically everybody. The Catholic priesthood has been a home for pedophiles and molesters for a thousand years. Numbers are even more suppressed among protestants where children are to be seen, and fondled, but not heard.

Russian intelligence ginned up the whole conspiracy theory and fed it into the alt-right conspiracy machine. Fox News ended up running with this BS for about 10 days until the truth started coming out and they retracted. Of course, once it's out there on the internet it has a life of it's own. Lots of lawsuits in progress.

Some guy held up a photo of Trump standing with Epstein at his rally today. Trump was not pleased, and I am surprised the guy survived the gauntlet he had to run through as Donald EJECTED him from the rally.
