The 2018 mid-terms? Trump was peddling PURE RACIAL FEAR. I guarantee you he will up the ante even more for 2020.

My thinking is that the Republican Party has reached a point of diminishing returns with the racism schtick. It's gonna start costing them votes and it's definitely got the opposition in a frenzy.

I think maybe it's because so many gays are out. Lesbians actually have some level of admiration among young people. So when a slightly versatile woman looks around and does not see any men worthy of her favors, her gay and out friend doesn't look so bad.
In the past, gays were much more secretive, so they would not have appeared as possible sex partners for lonely young women. There really is hardly any stigma for being lesbian these days. But even back in the 60's a lot of people thought lesbians were hot.

Bloodbath. Suburban white females gave the Dems their win in 2018. I expect that to continue in 2020. Then there is this: Suicide of rural white mailes have increased since Trump came into Office. And, lastly, Trump is failing the Rust Belt and they will not be forgiving.

He's devastating the farm belt economically.
He has totally alienated every single minority.
He didn't make Mexico pay for a wall.
The great healthcare plans he promised evaporated.
The "Best People" turned out to be the very worst and he didn't Lock Her Up.
The list of things he has done that will COST him votes is almost endless.
Seriously...it's over for this clown in 2020. I'm not sure why anyone thinks he has any chance at all of winning. He was a fluke in the first place and living proof that the electoral college has twice failed seriously.
