We certainly hope you are correct Greger. Yet when one studies the faces behind Trump in one of his endless MAGA rallies, one sees some pretty deeply duped and cultish carbon units. Let’s hope that there just aren’t enough of them who will stick with him in 2020.

It will be curious to see his and his fans reactions at his next cult-fest. Whenever the hell that might be.

There are not enough of fans. Fatass' approval ratings have never, ever been above 50%.

Trump won in 2016 with 46.4% of the votes. Clinton lost with 48%.

Blue voters were not all that excited about the race because the polls said it was in the bag. Some may have stayed home because their favorite candidate lost in the primaries, some stayed home because they read so much negative press about Clinton.

Red voters were looking for racist revenge.

The dynamics of the upcoming race are completely reversed.

Red voters haven't got a primary race to get voters interested in the race. They can deny it all they want, but he's an embarrassment and a bumbling fool. There is NO positive press coverage of Trump because he never does anything positive. Some will sit home because they are ashamed of him. Some might actually worry about another potential 4 years of this...
He certainly hasn't won any new votes since he was elected so let's be very generous and predict that he will get 46.4% of the vote in 2020.

It won't be enough.

Because Blue voters want revenge on the racists.

Ummmm, those are PAID carbon units.

Trump paid actors $50 to cheer for him.

A rock ribbed Republican as I recall...we may have to dust off a few forum guidelines...but some can remain on the shelf so long as we all remain civil.

I like the loosey-goosey rules we've been operating under the past few years.

Fatass Trump for example. smile

Having spent some time perusing other offerings, I kinda like the level of moderation we exercise here. We Moderators may have to be a little more on our game, but some new old blood would be nice! (I don't, however, want to become the next 8Chan.)

I like our brotherhood too but as John Belushi says, it's time to put the band back together again.

Oh by the way, this is really funny.
I'm sure most of you might remember that I used to live in Minneapolis back in the 1970's when I was going to school and playing in a little blues band that started to become pretty popular.
Well, as it turns out, I think Senator Hatrack and I crossed paths IN REAL life back then because he and his brother were friends with most everyone in our little band and he attended a lot of our old jam sessions and area gigs at the various bars and clubs in town.

When I went to his Facebook page there it was, two mutual friends who were both band members. Life is grand.
