You kidding? We have subdivisions like that and there's no Costco in the middle.
Write the Corp Office and let them know.

Warehouse Operations
Costco Wholesale Corporation
999 Lake Drive
Issaquah, WA 98027

Many warehouses have been built because people have written to the Corp office.

Even Mississippi is getting its first warehouse later this Fall 2019. Hmm The rednecks in Mississippi fought Costco for YEARS in opening a Mississippi warehouse. Why? Starting wage at Costco is $15.00/hr. smile The residents also object to Costco being Membership to shop and purchase fuel. Apparently too high-brow for them. coffee

States still with no warehouse: Wyoming, Maine, West Virginia

Truth is...they've done the studies and found us lacking.

Several stores over in Orlando but the drive is too far. They seem to go for the busy north/south corridors here.

Close freeway access is also a consideration.

We must have done something right up here in the Greater Toronto Area, we have 4 Costco's in our usual shopping/driving distance, and two Ikea's. They are all more than enthusiastically patronised.

Well, it IS "Canadia", so I imagine Costco is more than happy to build there. Who wouldn't want to open a store in Canadia?

Publix put a supermarket at all four corners of my town. Publix is a seriously awesome supermarket and hard to compete with in Florida. We've got the sheer numbers of people in this area but not the big commerce centers. That's where all the sheer numbers of people work and Costco isn't far from there so they go there after work....I don't work and it's a half hour to town and then another half hour over to Costco.

But I sure wish there was one near me. For the meat market mostly.

Why thank you, it has been a while.

Thought I'd poke my nose in and see what's really up with our southern cousins; get informed by the plentiful supply of diverse commentary on this board. cool

Still can't find the password for my *really* old account (IIRC SimonC)...

BTW I find the secret to being missed is to run in a zig-zag... eek

Kirkland Signature Choice-grade Beef is one of the top purchased Kirkland Branded items. The No 1 item is Kirkland Signature bath tissue (toilet paper), followed by the Kirkland Signature bottled water.

The rotisserie chicken is up there as a big seller too.
