Last I checked, Canada had pretty restrictive immigration requirements.
Some o' yall might qualify but I don't. Deal is...if you can't afford to keep yourself warm during the winter just stay home. You can just live in the woods a lot of places but gen'ly speaking Canada aint one of 'em.

Reminds me of an old racist joke...Two men of color were applying to enter Florida.
They asked the first one what he did for a living. "Pilot" he said. "we can always use more pilots." they said, and let him in.
They asked the other fella the same question "Woodcutter" he said. They denied him entry because there were plenty of woodcutters already. The indignant applicant then exclaimed "Well, how's he gonna pile it if I don't cut it?"
