Y'know...I almost consider President Trump to be a fellow Floridian. So in defense of this overblown faux pas let me assure you it's just the way a Floridian looks at hurricane predictions. We don't believe them and every one of us feels better qualified than the weather bureau to predict their paths. I've done that to many a map, although somewhat less lately since sharpie is hard to get off the screen...They handed him a map and he said "I bet it goes this way!" and scrawled that on the map.
