Herr Trump says "there was nobody here in America twenty-five years ago, and therefore air and water was cleaner than it is now." Twenty five years ago was 1994.

The man's cheese is falling off his cracker right before our very eyes!

Oh WOW! You mean it was not me walking around Philly in the 60s breathing in all that yellowish air and watching the black Delaware flow under the Tacony Palmyra bridge and being unable to see William Penn while crossing the bridge... Miracles, upon miracles.

Here is what President Donald (swiss cheese without a cracker) Trump was breathing back in 66. It may explain his tiny, diseased, swiss cheese brain https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1966_New_York_City_smog

And for those that care to know the genesis of the Clean Air movement and later The Clean Air Act. Who says pollution does not kill: Donora Pennsylvania - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1948_Donora_smog

Trump thinks his VP's name is Mike Pounce. We can add that to Trump's list:

Windmill Cancer
Airports seized during the Revolutionary War
Oranges of the “Russer” investigation.
Raking the forest
Aircraft One
Sharpie on a NOAA map
Call his VP Mike “Pounce”

smile

It's kafkaesque.
Except Kafka would impeach Trump. LOL

Chilly here this morning, like the Oregon coast. Rained some all night, drizzly and drippy with a bit of fog settled in. We left the windows open, as is our routine for cooling the house for the next day, so it's now 60 degrees inside and out - may be a bit of an overreach. The house smells vaguely of maryjane, due to the partial hemp crop drying on string lines upstairs. Time for snuggling with dogs and cats under comforters, hot coffee, reading, and cogitating upon the human condition...

I'm currently in a similar condition. We have a timeshare condo that we visit quarterly. This week the weather is cloudy, 50-60s. When we arrived it was pleasant to sit in a condo that was 68 degrees, but, in the evening we discovered that heat wouldn't turn on. Uh-oh! Fortunately, my computer is generating heat, so my hands are warm.

We won't see that kind of weather until the dead of winter. And not much of it then.

It's already starting to cool down here in SoCal, after a two week "heat wave", and I put that in quotes because after ten years in the American version of Saudi Arabia (Dallas) nothing is a real heat wave anymore...but it was 95 degrees so it was a bit warm for a spell.

Now fall will be in the air and in two weeks we'll barely see the A/C come on at all for the next six months. And we can open the windows laugh
