We went to see “Yesterday” day before yesterday. It was interesting, simple and clean, full of excellent Beatles songs. I woke up with this one playing in my head and thought I’d share it as a metaphorical mental palate cleanser.
I love remembering the old classic Beatles films. But they were generally about "nothing", or employed a thin plot as veneer to peddle more Beatles music, which was perfectly fine by me because I just wanted to watch and listen to them performing. A few amusing vignettes connected by a thin thread was more than enough.
It's come to my attention that THIS film, however, has a real story behind it, which intrigues me. I'm aware of the basic plot elements. I can't wait to see it.
