I was there from 09/06 to 09/10/19 in El Lay. Indeed warm, but not too bad. Upper 80s. Hmm

Now fall will be in the air and in two weeks we'll barely see the A/C come on at all for the next six months. And we can open the windows

That's pretty much the forecast here too.

What's A/C? I've heard of AOC...

Picture a compressor filled with Puron (modern equivalent of freon) and a condenser with a fan. The compressed gases absorb heat and the cooler liquified gas flows under pressure through the condenser and the fan circulates the cold air throughout the house.

We went to see “Yesterday” day before yesterday. It was interesting, simple and clean, full of excellent Beatles songs. I woke up with this one playing in my head and thought I’d share it as a metaphorical mental palate cleanser.

I love remembering the old classic Beatles films. But they were generally about "nothing", or employed a thin plot as veneer to peddle more Beatles music, which was perfectly fine by me because I just wanted to watch and listen to them performing. A few amusing vignettes connected by a thin thread was more than enough.

It's come to my attention that THIS film, however, has a real story behind it, which intrigues me. I'm aware of the basic plot elements.
I can't wait to see it.

I read one of the best insults in my experience recently. "That is a remarkably smooth brain you have." I'm looking for an opportunity to use it.
